Ted "Teddy" Maupin (John T.), 75, known by his family as Teddy, went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2016, in Naples, FL.
Ted married Bonnie in KS, in 1959 and they shared 56 years of marriage. They have two children, Tad and Toni, and 5 grandchildren. Ted was a Silver Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Topeka High School and Washburn University. He went on to own his own business. Ted was a former Second District Republican Party Chairman in KS. He remained avidly involved in Politics. After selling their printing company in Topeka, KS, the Maupins relocated to Naples, FL in 1995, where they worked in the marina industry and continued to be active in politics.
Ted was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, sister and four grandchildren.
Services will be held where the family originated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 Sw 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.
