Suzann Jean Odell
Suzann (Suzie) Jean Odell, age 46, passed away November 291h at her home in Topeka.
She is survived by her sister Elaine K. Huddleston of Colorado Springs, Colo. and her brothers Robert A. and Steven D. Odell(her twin) both of Topeka and Thomas E. Odell of Lenexa. Her parents were Emmett A. and Myrlie M. Routh Odell. She had four nephews, one niece and one great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dennis M. Odell
Miss Odell was born February 7, 1956 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Emmett A. and Myrlie M. Routh Odell and was a lifelong citizen of Topeka. She graduated from Highland Park High in 1974 and attended Kansas University on graduation.
She was employed at ATT/Southwestern Bell since 1980. In the 1980's she was the only woman working on ATT Long Line towers west of the Mississippi.
Suzie enjoyed pulling practical jokes. She was a past member of the Topeka Classic Chevy Club and enjoyed restoring antique vehicles.
Graveside Services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery Monday, December 9, 2002 at 2:00PM Miss Odell will lie in state from noon to 9PM December 8, 2002 at Penwell Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. The family will receive friends and realatives from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Operation Wildlife 23375 Guthrie Road, Linwood, KS 66052 or may be sent in care of the funeral home.
