Susan G. Mcgivern
Susan McGivern, 57, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Susan was born November 25, 1953, in Topeka, daughter of John and Gladys (Brill) McGivern. She graduated from Mt. Saint Scholastica, Atchison, and Washburn University, where she obtained an AA degree in Literature. Susan loved her grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for pets.
She is survived by her son, Tyler McGivern, daughter, Samantha (Adam) Sutphen, beloved grandchildren, Jack, Quinton, Payne, and Sydney Sutphen, all of Topeka; siblings, Michael McGivern, John F. McGivern, Jim McGivern, Judy Row.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617.
