Suellen Freundorfer

Suellen Freundorfer passed away April 20th, 2005 following complications from surgery.

She was born February 15, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas, daughter to Floyd and Betty Sappington.

She was married to Roman Freundorfer on November 30th, 1968. Their marriage lasted 33 years. Her husband Roman preceded her in death on October 8th, 2002. She is survived by two children, Roman and Elizabeth Freundorfer of Topeka, and her sister Jane Garvin of Lawrence.

She was an animal lover with a soft spot for strays. She enjoyed history and loved to share funny historical facts with anyone who would listen. Suellen loved the Colorado mountains and was able to share this with her children in one last trip before she became too ill to travel. She was a steadfast friend who always gave loving advise when asked. She was very active in her local PEO chapter DV, most recently serving as 1st Vice President of The Topeka Cooperative Board. Growing up in the fifties and sixties, she was deeply devoted to the cause of women's education. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by her family and friends.
