Su Fei (Lin) Wang passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1929 in Taichung, Taiwan.
Su Fei came to the United States in 1962 with her family. Her husband, Maw Shiu Wang worked as a chemist at Monsanto Company. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri for many years and raised two children there.
In 2000, Su Fei moved to Topeka to be with her daughter.
She enjoyed traveling abroad to Asia and Europe. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting clothes for her family and friends.
Su Fei's husband died on October 14, 1996 while he and Su Fei were on vacation in France. She is survived by her brother and sister; her children, Dr. Lester (Hsiao Fen) Wang and Lisa (Dr. Max) Lai; her grandchildren, Dr. Albert (Dr. Amanda) Lai, Patrick (Yoon) Lai, Leah Wang, Leonard Wang and Lyndsey Wang; her great grandchildren, Alana Lai-Spalter and Asher Lai-Spalter.
Honoring Su Fei's request, cremation is planned. Her cremated remains will be buried next to her husband at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
