Steven Van Noy, 59, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023.
He was born June 25, 1963, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of James and Beverley (Ward) Van Noy.
Steven was employed by Swift Trucking Company. He became disabled in 2004.
Steven was a proud member of the Cherokee tribe.
Steven married Colleen (Ash) Van Noy on July 3, 2004 in Portland, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father; James L. Van Noy.
Survivors include a wife; Colleen Van Noy, mother; Beverley Van Noy, sons; Charles Romine, Jesse McCormick, daughter; Sheena Romine, brothers; Ronald Denno, Mike Denno, Mark Van Noy, sisters; Georgia Weber, Lori Edwards, Karla Van Noy, Elizabeth Lamothe & Cindy Bell, grandsons; Damion Romine, Alexander Stewart, granddaughter; Serynnity Romine.
Steven enjoyed driving his 18 wheeler, loved his dogs Coco 1-2 and 3, and he tolerated his mom's dogs that loved him & her cats. He loved the ocean and fishing. But most of all of his loved his family.
Steven was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs Fan, and the family requests that everyone attending the services to be wearing their Kansas City Chiefs gear in his honor.
Visitation will start at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Penwell-Gabel - Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue , Topeka, Kansas 66604, funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, in Topeka, Kansas.
