Steven C. Schaffert, 50, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his home.
Steven was born January 5, 1956 in Topeka, the son of Wendell W. and Nancy L. (Harris) Schaffert.
He graduated from Topeka High School in 1974, and attended the University of Kansas. He graduated from Kaw Valley Vocational Technical School with a certificate in Electronics and had been employed by an inventory company.
Steven married Denise D. MacMillan on September 15, 1979. She survives. Other survivors include his children; Stacy, John and Emily Schaffert; mother, Nancy L. Schaffert; and brother, Stan Schaffert. He was preceeded in death by his father, Wendell W. Schaffert and a brother, Bob Schaffert.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Mount Hope Mausoleum.
