Steven Glenn Lesslie

Steven Glenn "Steve" Lesslie, 60, Topeka, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021.
He was born May 26, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Orville and Marcene (Romig) Lesslie. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1979 and received his bachelor's of science with an emphasis of fishery from Kansas State University in 1983.
Steve was biologist and worked at KDOT for 18 years. Previously he had worked at the Corps of Engineers in Council Grove.
He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Topeka.
Survivors include his son, Kyle (Dalten) Lesslie, Olpe, KS; mother, Marcene, Topeka; sister, Deb Lesslie (Randy Miller); and granddaughter, Lillian Lesslie, Olpe, KS.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Orville Glenn Lesslie.
Steve was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, and golfing. He was an avid K-State fan.
A memorial graveside service will be 10am Friday, July 23, 2021at Mount Hope Cemetery.
