Steven L. Headlee, 61, of Topeka, passed away October 12, 2008, at the Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center.
Steven was born on Jan. 31, 1947, the son of Milton and Helen (Penwell) Headlee.
He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Steven was a volunteer at the VA Hospital for 10+ years.
He is survived by his father, Milton Headlee; one sister, Darlene Ewing; 4 nephews; 1 niece, and 1 great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen in 1998.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 16 at the Silver Lake Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the US Marine Corps.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604.
