Stephen J. Williams, 52, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006 at his home.
He was born January 20, 1954 in Leavenworth, Kansas the son of John L. and Helen M. Hiatt Williams.
Stephen was a graduate of Topeka West High School where he was a member of Topeka West Singers. He attended the University of Houston, Texas.
He operated a computer consulting business and was a member of the PC Club of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his father John L. Williams in September, 1987. Survivors include his mother, Helen Williams; his special friend, Christina (Kris) Vakas Bates; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephen will lie in state after 12:00 noon Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 837 S.
