Stanley "Stan" F. Akins, 63, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
Stan was born on December 4, 1954 in Topeka, KS to Kenneth Akins, Sr. and Betty Akins-Boaz.
He is survived by brothers, Kenneth Akins, Jr. (Ruth), of Topeka, and Richard Akins (Eleanor) of Lebanon, NH; two nephews; three nieces; as well as a close friend, Joyce Cantrell.
Stan enjoyed reading sci-fi novels, watching the old Star-Trek series, and caring for children throughout his life.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka.
