Sophia Eileen Mead, infant daughter of Troy and Denice Mead, of Manhattan, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011.
Sophia is survived by her parents; twin brother, Gabrial Mead; brothers, Gage Mickey, Bryan Brown, Mordecai Brown, Anakin Mead, John Smith, Darryl Smith; and grandparents, Jim and May Houghton, and Zona Kaiser-Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23rd, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sophia Mead Memorial Fund, c/o Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union, PO Box 1975, Topeka, KS 66601-1975.
