Shirley J. Snook, 74, Overbrook, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at her home.
She was born October 1, 1930 in Topeka, the daughter of W. Ralph and Velma (Jimmie) Dukett Snook.
Shirley worked for her father as a linotype operator for 25 years. She later worked for Jostins for 10 years.
She belonged to the Lake Shawnee Women's Golf Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Survivors include companion, Rose Parker along with numerous cousins.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 15. 2005 at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Shirley will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday and visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, Inc., 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
