Shirley Lee Cox, 100, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Plaza West Care Center.
Shirley was born on July 8, 1913 in Minneapolis, MN.
She was married to Abraham Cox; he preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Lee, a sister, Jaquelyn Lee, a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Lee, and several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, Shirley was cremated and there will be no visitation or graveside services. Inurnment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
