On January 29th, Sheri our beautiful daughter's life on earth ended. We will hold her in our hearts forever. She had an amazing life full of adventure and travel.
She graduated from Jefferson West High School in Meriden, KS in 1988. She was president of her class and was a cheerleader for Pom Pon. She went to the University of Kansas and in her junior year, she sailed around the World with "Semester At Sea".
She loved her Harley "Grace" and she served as a representative for ABATE, district 5 at state level and also as treasurer of the organization. Sheri loved trains. She was amazed with their "magnificent strength". She had the position of "yard master" responsible for managing trains coming and going in Hillsboro, KS. A position rarely held by a woman. Sheri later worked for 10 years at KC Southern Railroad as Contract Manager.
Sheri was an avid supporter of Million March Against Child Abuse (MMACA) and many other organizations that helped people and families in need.
She is survived by her father David (Sharan) Lesmeister, her mother, Renae (Hoffart) (Ron) Wright and her brother, Darin (Stefany) Lesmeister, nieces, Sophie and Maggie Lesmeister, step-brothers David (Cindy) and Jason Wright, step-nephews, Devin and Caleb Wright.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Joseph and Francis Hoffart and George and Martina Lesmeister.
