Sheelah Dougherty Brown, 55, of Topeka died July 8, 2004.
Sheelah held many Corporate management and executive positions worldwide with IBM, Nortel, and Eli Lilly. She returned to Topeka to help start a family business, Topeka Liquor Club.
She was born on March 19, 1949, the daughter of Jim and Meredith Dougherty. She graduated from Topeka High School, Washburn University and she attended the Master's Degree Program at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Survivors include her mother, Meredith Clark Dougherty, Topeka. Twin sister, Shirley & her husband Gary Austerman, Wichita. Also many, much loved nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 12, 2004 at 11:00 am at the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
