Sandra Elaine Serl, 75, Topeka, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.
She was born May 10, 1942, in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Doris (Callahan) Radabaugh. She graduated from Independence High School in 1960.
Sandra was employed by Jostens for several years. She was a member of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary and assisted with Bingo. She also volunteered at the VA Hospital where she served coffee and assisted with Bingo.
On June 5, 1960, she married Lloyd O. Serl. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Dozier and Larry Radabaugh.
Survivors include three children: Donna Serl-Liberty (Dan White), Bonnie Serl-Young (James Moore) and Gregory Serl (Martha), all of Topeka; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
