Sandra A. Mckinnon
Sandra A. McKinnon, 72, of Topeka, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006.
Sandra was born May 28, 1933 in Wamego, KS, daughter of Willard and Ione Balderson.
She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Kansas and earned a Master's degree in Education from Emporia State University.
Sandra taught junior high English in Topeka for many years.
Survivors: two daughters, Lisa McKinnon Beebe and Laurie McKinnon Lange and husband, Ben Lange; two granddaughters, Kara Beebe and Leah Lange; sister, Kay Holle and husband, Chuck; brother, Clark Balderson; and many loving nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Stuart McKinnon.
A memorial service for Mrs. McKinnon will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 18 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be sent to Breakthrough House, 603 S.W. Topeka Blvd. Suite 100, Topeka, KS 66603.
