Ruth Tregemba

Ruth S. Tregemba, 96, of Galdstone, Missouri, formerly of Topeka, passed away Thursday February 22, 2007 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri.

She was born October 15, 1910 in Wetmore, Kansas and resided in Topeka most of her life. As her health declined she moved to Kansas City to be near her son.

Ruth had worked as a secretary for The Capper Foundation several years. She was a former member of First Southern Baptist church, Topeka. She is a current member of Northgate Baptist.

She was married to John M. "Mike" Tregemba. He preceded her in death December 13, 1984. Survivors include her sons, Charles Tregemba, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dean Tregemba, Kansas City, Missouri, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Tregemba will lie in state after 12:00 noon Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where family will greet friends one half hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Overbrook Cemetery, Overbrook Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
