Ruth Myers

Ruth C. Myers, 91, of Topeka, died Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on August 28, 1913 in Topeka, the daughter of Henry and Sarah Douglas Jacquot. She owned and operated Vel-Rene Beauty Shop for 30 years. She married Dale Myers in May of 1941. He preceded her in death in 1967. Survivors include one sister, Lenarie Goodnow of Topek a and two brothers, Leonard Jacquot and Earl Jacquot, both of Topeka . Ms. Myers will lie in state after 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 6-7:00 pm.
