Ruth (Kelly) Weed, 83, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013.
Ruth was born June 28, 1929, to William H. and Fannie (Castor) Kelly. She married Guy F. Cell, Sept. 18, 1947; he passed away July 1, 1969. Ruth married Albert Dudley Weed, Sept. 25, 1970; he passed away July 12, 2001.
Ruth had been a member of Oakland United Methodist Church for 10 years, but poor health had kept her from attending.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, son, Roger D. "Rocky" Cell on Aug. 31, 2006, and daughter, Wanda Lee (Cell) Fennel on Dec. 13, 2009, in Texas.
Ruth is survived by her son, Alan G. Cell and wife Debbie, Meriden, KS, and granddaughter, Erin Nicole Cell, Colorado, and nieces and nephews.
Cremation is planned and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th Street, Suite 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
