Ruth "Fawn" Kutnink, 90, McPherson, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017.
She was born November 12, 1927, in Ogallah, Kansas, the daughter of Miles and Donna (Zink) Lynd. Fawn graduated from Wakeeney High School and attended business college in Denver, Colorado. Fawn was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan where she was also a part of Church Circle. She held memberships with Job's Daughters and later Order of the Eastern Star in Smith Center and she was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and P.E.O. Fawn held numerous offices in all memberships.
On November 1, 1953, she married Paul (Bob) Kutnink in Smith Center, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1987. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Hardman (Terry), McPherson; Debbie Combs (Rod), Pooler, GA and Valeri Smith (David), Manhattan; six grandchildren, Alisha McEntire (Phil), Josh Hardman (Whitney), Joel Hardman (Taylor Carlson), Rachel Combs, Jeremy Combs and Cory Rowe (Vanessa Payne); one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Fawn Hardman; three sisters, Donna Weidler, Sharon Morneau (Geoff) and Sheila Latham (Dee) and numerous nieces, nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Vivian, Genevieve, Miles, JD, Harold and James David.
Fawn enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She made most of her children's clothes. She was an excellent cook, an avid golfer and huge K-State fan.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka. Graveside services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
