Ruth Ann Noll Hoffman died March 25th, 2025, in Kansas City, Kansas. Mrs. Hoffman was a licensed day care provider for over 30 years, operating Hoffman Day Care. “Ruthie” cared for multiple generations of children, and she loved them all dearly. She graduated from Winchester High School and attended Emporia State University. She was a member of Victory Fellowship Church in Emporia.
The daughter of Aloysius T. Noll and Pearl M. Servaes Noll, she was born in rural Jefferson County near Winchester, KS on March 12, 1939. She married Kenneth E. Hoffman August 22, 1959, at Corpus Christi Church near Winchester; He preceded her in death on February 9, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Marshall) Berry of Gardner, KS, two Sons, Douglas (Cathy) Hoffman of Smithville, MO and Eric (Paula) Hoffman of Merriam KS; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sister Nina Kreutzer of Basehor, KS. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Noll of Winchester, KS sisters Doris Ruhlman, Oskaloosa, KS, Juanita Jones, Easton, KS and Judy Sigman, Kidder, MO.
The visitation (10am) and funeral service (11am) will be at Victory Fellowship on Saturday April 5th; Reverend Mike Stubbs will officiate. The burial will be in Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Fellowship in memory of Ruth Hoffman at 693 Rd 190, Emporia, KS 66801.
