Ruth D. Gleason, 93, of Topeka, died, Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Brewster Place.
She was born August 20, 1911 in Scranton, Kansas the daughter of Joseph and Emily Buttler Dangerfield. Ruth has resided in Topeka since 1917.
She was a 1933 graduate of Washburn University. Ruth had been employed as a librarian with the Kansas State Historical Society.
She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her sister Alice Coleman, St. Louis. Missouri.
Cremation is planned. Private inurnment will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel MId Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements. To leave a message for the family please visit www.penwellgabel.com
