Ruth Franklin

Ruth P. Franklin, 85, of Topeka, passed away, Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Manor Care Nursing Center.

She was born September 16, 1918 at Manes, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Iva Perkins.

Ruth was a homemaker. She had also worked for USD 501 and the State of Kansas,

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Ruth was married to Arthur R. Franklin November 8, 1941 at Hartville, MO. He survives. Other survivors include:
Three sons, Chuck Franklin Kansas City, MO
Bob Franklin Topeka, KS
Don Franklin Nacogdoches, TX
One daughter, Yutoka Franklin Topeka, KS
One sister, Mabel Hicks Topeka, KS
Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Franklin will lie in state after 12:00 noon Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
