Ruth Ellen Rusk, 90, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at a Topeka hospital.
Ruth Ellen was born November 11, 1915 in Brookfield, Missouri, the daughter of Harrel and Neva Pearl Ewing Reynolds.
She married John Donald Rusk on February 17, 1934 in Brookfield, MO.
Ruth Ellen and her husband owned and operated Rusk's Ideal Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks. Upon retirement, they lived in Columbia, Missouri.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Christian Church of Topeka.
A woman of unprecedented grace who touched all she knew with her unending smile and the tender loving care she gave.
Survivors include two daughters; Ellen Myzer, Topeka and Martha Wood, Rogers, MN; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989 and son-in-law, Ferrol Myzer.
A Memorial Service will be held in Columbia, Missouri at a later date.
