Ruth A. Anderson, 80, Topeka, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014.
She was born March 14, 1934, in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph and Alice (George) Hixson. She graduated from Lawrence High School and Washburn University.
In 1953, she married Gene Anderson. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Ruth was professional secretary for Josten's and Washburn University.
Survivors include her children, Grant (Gayla) Anderson and Linda Lehman, four grandchildren, Joshua Lehman, Samuel (Diana) Lehman, Briese (Kristi) Anderson and Miriah (Josh) Whitaker and four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Joshua, Jacob, Rylee.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 22 at Mount Hope Chapel, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family.
