Rudulf L. Zuniga, 56, of Topeka, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Ks. He was born on February 26, 1948 in Topeka, the son of Louis and Lupe Serna Zuniga. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1966. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed by Hills Pet Products before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, FOE Lodge No. 4319 and served on the board of trustees. He was active in the city league fast pitch softball program and an avid bowler and was a Bush League pool player. He owned and operated Ol' Dad Entertainment which was a DJ and Karoke service. He married Julie Gonzalez on November 25, 1972 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Dimitri Zuniga of Topeka, one daughter, Nekol Rocha of Topeka, three grandchildren, Onyessah , Cailiana and Kadyn, three sisters, Sylvia Aguilar of Gilbert, Arizona, Josie Munoz and Lisa Mendoza , two brothers, Angelo and Rick, and his mother, Lupe Zuniga, all of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Zuniga. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Zuniga will lie in state after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church where the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. A friends rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. and a parish rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Center c/o Terry C.
