Roy C. Wagaman, 83, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 at his home. He was born June 6, 1921 in Burlington, KS, the son of Chester and Nellie Haehn Wagaman. Roy has been a Topeka resident since 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Moose Lodge, the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He worked for Ed Marlings for 30 years. He married Ora A. Simmons, Sept. 19, 1946 in Topeka, KS. She died Nov. 13, 2002.
Survivors include a son Michael Wagaman, Brookings, OR; two daughters, Donna Miller, Asbury, NJ; and Carrie Harned, Lansing, MI,; three grandchildren Ian Miller, Haley Harned and Erin Harned, one brother; Loren Wagaman of Emporia, Ks., and one sister, Rachael Keller of St. Francis, Ks.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Private inurnment will be at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
