Rosetta Scheibner
Mrs. Rosetta Scheibner, 89, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Brewster Place. She was born on April 12, 1919 in Atchison, Kansas to Harry L. and Sally (Pitts) Foley.
She was married for over 58 years to Albert M. Scheibner, a retired Kansas Highway Patrolman, he passed away December 18, 1998. She was a secretary for the Kansas State Senate, the administrative assistant for Kansas Neurological Institute, and an assistant for the Capital Police. She was a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Albert L. Scheibner and his wife Phyllis of Seaview, WA; Thomas R. Scheibner and his wife Becky of Sarasota, FL; and Gary M. Scheibner and his wife Audri of Burlington, KS; and two grandchildren, Scott Scheibner and Shelley Scheibner both of St. Petersburg, FL.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Rushville, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St # 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
