Rose Brenner Sheetz, 66, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
She was born October 11, 1950, in Garden City, KS the daughter of Leo J. and Eleanor B. (Casey) Brenner.
Rose was a 1968 graduate of St. Mary of the Plains High School in Dodge City and Dodge City Community College School of Cosmetology. She and her business partner, Debra Hamman, owned and operated Appearance Plus Salon for many years.
She is survived by her four sisters, Ellen Vap of Overland Park, KS, Sharan Shaw (Tom) of San Antonio, TX, Marilyn Campbell and Jane George, both of Topeka; a niece, Leah Scheck (Frank) of Topeka; a nephew, Steven George (Brea) of Topeka and three step-sons, Michael Sheetz and Samuel Sheetz, both of Topeka and Peter Sheetz, of Lafayette, CO.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jay Sheetz, III, her parents, and her nephew, Aaron Campbell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Mater Dei Holy Name Chapel, with burial to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Presbyterian Manor, Midland Care or Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
