Rosa Lee Hutchinson, 64, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at a local hospital.
Rosa Lee was born August 7, 1944 in Centralia, the daughter of Henry and Rosa (Walters) Woolsoncroft. She graduated from Centralia High School in 1962 and attended Clarks School of Business.
She was a bookkeeper at several grain companies in the Topeka area.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Topeka and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She was an active 4-H leader and had been a member of the Circleville Home Extension Unit and the Circleville and Centralia United Methodist Churches.
Rosa Lee married Dennis Hutchinson on February 19, 1966. They later divorced. Survivors include daughter, Denise Moore, Topeka; son, Doug Hutchinson, Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Shelby and Kylie Moore; sister, Fran (Keith) Odgers, Topeka; and brother, Roy (Peggy) Woolsoncroft, Centralia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Woolsoncroft.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Rosa Lee will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Monday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
