Ronda Ann Schrock, 44, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Ronda was born February 1, 1963 in Plainville, Kansas the daughter of Ronald L. and America A. DeVall Schrock.
She lived in Stockton, Kansas in her early childhood. The family moved to Salina in 1967 where she attended grade school and Junior High School. They moved to Topeka when she was in the 9th grade and Ronda has resided here since.
Ronda was employed at Logan Business Machines.
She married Richard L. Fischer in April 1991 and from this marriage they had two children Crystal A. Fischer and Jessie L. Fischer. She is survived by her children, her fiancée, Robert L. Beaman, her mother, America A. Schrock, two brothers, David L. Schrock and Todd E. Schrock all of Salina, her grandparents, Loren D. and Marion L. Schrock, Hoxie, KS six aunts, six uncles and nineteen cousins. Ronda was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Millard A. DeVall and Lloyd M. and June Cozad.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina, Kansas. Ronda will lie in state after 12:00 noon Monday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
