Ronald Ray Bishop, 57 - Topeka, Kansas died November 20, 2013 at his residence. Ronald (Ron) was born August 3, 1956 the first child to Rex M. and Earline M. (Gordine) Bishop in Salina, Kansas.
At the age of 7 years Ron moved to Emporia, Kansas with his parents. He attended school there graduating from Emporia High School with the class of 1974. He attended the College of Emporia for a few years before he moved to Topeka, Kansas. While in Topeka he worked at Brown Shoe Fit for several years until his health forced him to retire.
He is survived by his Mother Earline (John) Dirickson, Pharr, Texas, Father Rex Bishop (Joan),Lebo, Kansas, one Sister Kimberly (Bob) Vering, Salina, Kansas. One Niece Kiley Meyer (Chris), Salina, Kansas. Ron was preceeded in death by his grandparents Earl & Velma Gordine, Solomon, Kansas and Cecil & Muriel Bishop, Miltonvale, Kansas.
The family has chosen cremation. The family will have a private burial in Minneapolis, Kansas at a later date. Penwell Gabel Mid-Town Chapel in Topeka is handling arrangements.
