Ron D. Bullard

Ron D. Bullard, 58, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. He was born April 19, 1954 in Denver, CO, the son of Robert S. and Marcella Brungardt Bullard. He was a truck driver for several different transport companies throughout his career.

Ron married Betty Shaffer Schroeder on July 1, 1989 at Perry, KS. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Rodney Schroeder of Clarion, IA, Courtney Asklund of Webster City, IA, two grandchildren, his siblings, Margorie Anne Mendes of California, Sharon L. Romero and Richard A. Bullard, both of Berryton and Robert T. Bullard of Denver, CO.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Center, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506 or to the Hospice House - Josie Harper Residence, 7415 Cedar St., Omaha, NE 68124.
