Roma A. Cummings, 97 of Topeka died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the Topeka Health Care Center. She was born, October 8, 1905 in Graham, MO to Edward Francis and Emma Mary Martie Schiefelbusch.
Mrs. Cummings graduated from Osawatotomie High School in 1925, later she graduated from Lawrence Business College. Mrs. Cummings worked for the State of Kansas for over 30 years.
She married Archie Cummings of Overbrook in 1939. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two brothers; Richard Schiefelbusch of Lawrence and Max Schiefelbusch of Parsons.
Mrs. Cummings will lie in state on Thursday, June 19, 2003 beginning at Noon, in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 20, 2003 at 11:00 am, in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Richland, KS.
Memorial donations may be made to Midland Hospice.
