Mrs. Jessie McFarland Robinson, 84, of Topeka passed away Saturday, April 24, 2004 at her home.
She was born October 30, 1919, in Mankato, Kansas the daughter of Frank M. and Iva May Sawyer Wilson.
Mrs. Robinson worked as a waitress at Vern's Cafe for many years.
She married Bob McFarland. He passed away. She later married Malcom Robinson. He passed away in January of 1993.
She was preceded in death by two children; Robert McFarland and Michael McFarland.
She is survived by one daughter: Darlene J. Shaver of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by one brother: Robert Wilson Smith Center, Kansas
She is survived by 7 Grandchildren and ____8____ Great Grandchildren
A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with a visitation from 7-8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Michael McFarland's Children's Educational Fund c/o Commerce Bank.
