Roberta "Bobbie" (Cameron) Knight, 94, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021.
She was born May 6, 1927, in Belfield, North Dakota, the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Denham) Cameron.
Her passion was singing. Even at her age, she could still sing a tune. She was a fabulous singer. She was in the Westminster Presbyterian Church choir for years.
She was the director of Sweet Adelines in Salina, Kansas and also sang in a quartet that preformed in concerts around the country. She would design and make all the costumes.
She was a great seamstress. She made most of her children's clothes including her own.
She loved to cook and bake. She could whip up a batch of fudge in two minutes. She was the best mom her children could ask for.
Bobbie married James Thomas Knight in Greeley, Colorado where they later moved to Salina and raised their family. He precedes her in death. Survivors include a son, Tom Knight and wife, Michele, daughter, Connie Smyser, daughter in law, Sharon Knight, ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T Knight, daughter, Sherry Kauffman, son, Clark Knight, brothers, Dick and Jack Cameron and her parents.

Cremation is planned and private family burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.
