Robert Stephen Stalcup

Robert Stephen "Steve" Stalcup, 76, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022.
He was born July 26, 1946, in Centralia, Kansas, the son of Elmer and Ruth (Bureman) Stalcup. He graduated from Centralia High School. Steve was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Steve was employed with First National Bank, later known as Bank Four.
He was a member of American Legion and V.F.W.
Survivors include his children, Todd (Sarah) Stalcup and Angela Anderson; sister, Susan Strunk; and three grandchildren, Jacob Anderson, Derek Stalcup, and Megan Stalcup.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Winkler.
Steve enjoyed reading, history and trivia, as well as, woodworking and music.
Visitation will begin at 9am followed by funeral services at 10am, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Private interment Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
