Robert K. Spring, Sabetha, died peacefully at his daughter's home in Topeka, where had has been taken care of since July 2008. He was 84 years old.
Mr. Spring worked for Wenger Manufacturing Inc. for 32 years before retiring in 1986. He was also a farmer.
Mr. Spring was born September 21, 1924 in Bern. When he was 6 months old, he moved to Sabetha with his parents where he lived the majority of his life. Mr. Spring was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sabetha.
Survivors include a daughter, Roberta and her husband, Richard Crook of Topeka; four grandhcildren; and a brother, Kenneth Spring, El Dorado. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Spring and brother, Paul Spring.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Sabetha.
