Robert Russell Irwin III
Age 61, Topeka, was born at Topeka, KS. December 2, 1941 and died May 13, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Hospital 10 days after falling at his home.
Mr. Irwin was the son of Robert R. and Alice Burns Irwin. He was married 1976 to Susie Norris. They were divorced.
He was a graduate of Topeka High School and the Univeristy of Denver. He attended Washburn Law School. He worked as an Independent Insurance Agent and later for 501 School District. He attended Light of the World Church. He was interested in antique cars and belonged to the Golden Spokes Car Club.
He is survived by his mother Alice Irwin of Topeka.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 16, 2003 at 1:00PM at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Irwin will lie in state from 2:00PM Thursday May 15, 2003 until service time.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Topeka Rescue Mission, Salvation Army or to the donors choice.
