Robert Keith Rowe, 85, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017, in Topeka, KS.
Bob was born May 6, 1932, in Solomon, KS, to R. Kenneth and Dorothy (Griffin) Rowe. He graduated from Salina High School. Bob enlisted into the US Army Infantry in 1953 and served two years before he was honorably discharged. After his time in the service, he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Kansas. He married R. Audrey Homman in October 1954 in Solomon, KS. Bob retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber. He enjoyed sports and scouting with his children, gardening, and working on his house.
He is survived by his two children, Debi (David) Feyh of Fargo, ND and Ron (Patricia) Rowe of Lakeland, FL; three grandchildren, Robyn Feyh of Topeka, Bob Feyh of Webster, SD, Katelyn (Thomas) Thurlow of Enterprise, KS, and Brenda Nuñez of Lakeland, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Ana and Skye.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife and parents.
He will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, Topeka.
