Robert V. "Bob" Pitt passed away Monday, January 17, 2022. He was 68 years old.
He was born April 23, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Edwin V. and Florence (O'Gara) Pitt. He was a graduate of Topeka West High School.
Bob was previously employed by the Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka as a Locomotive Engineer.
He was a longtime member of the American Motorcyclist Association.
Survivors include his son Sean Pitt and his daughter Kristen Pitt. He was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Edwin Pitt, his sister, Kathleen Edsall and brother, David Pitt.
Bob enjoyed motorcycling, bicycling, fishing and the outdoors.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned. A graveside service will be held February 26th at 12:30PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Topeka is assisting the family.
