Robert "Bob" Jernigan Sr.
May 17, 1927 — October 13, 2018
Robert D. Jernigan, Sr. of Maple Hill, Kansas, passed away from life on October 13, 2018 to join his beloved wife of 49 years Lylah in heaven, along with his parents Reese and Flora; sister, Delores, and brother Floyd.
He is survived by daughters, Dale, Peggy, Vicki, and Betty; son, Robert Jernigan Jr.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; siblings, Becky Nadine and William Max; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends during a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Keene Cemetery in Keene, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3625 SW 29th St. Suite 102, Topeka, KS 66614.
