Robert G. Beagel, 83 passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born on May 31, 1926 in Alta Vista, Kansas to Gilbert and Laura Margaret Beagel.
On April 12, 1947 he married Betty Jean Dark, she preceded him in death on December 18, 1985. He then married Charlene A. Morgan on December 22, 1988.
He is survived by his wife Charlene A. Beagel of Council Grove; daughter, Nancy Stockdale of Topeka; son, Robert Jon Beagel of Kansas City; sister, Eleanor Margaret Modig of Topeka; sister, Norma Jean McDiffett of Silver Lake; brother, James Harris Beagel of North Chicago; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son David August 20, 1989.
