Robert "Bob" Frank, 81, of Topeka, formerly of Silver Lake, KS passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Homestead of Topeka. He was born October 23, 1933 in Waverly, KS, the son of Miles and Neva (Garrett) Frank.
Bob was employed by Dupont for over 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Silver Lake United Methodist Church and the Lake Lodge No. 50 AF & AM of Silver Lake.
Bob married Charlotte L. Underwood on April 14, 1962 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Kevin E. Frank of Washington, DC, Kim (Brent) Lilley of Overland Park, KS, two grandchildren, Carson Lilley and Madison Lilley. Bob was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Frank and two sisters, Dorothy Shobe and Marjorie Byrd.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. Bob will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church, 204 Madore St., Silver Lake, KS 66539.
