Robert Dale Shaw

Robert Dale Shaw, 79, of Topeka, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka.
Dale was born on January 25, 1936 in Sedalia, MO the son of William Tolbert and Ruby Pearl (Majors) Shaw. He graduated from Osage City High School in 1954.
He married Loeva Shoemate in Topeka on June 22, 1957.
Dale worked for many years for Dupont in Topeka. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loeva Shaw of Topeka; daughter, Robin (Jeff) Campbell of Topeka; sons, Robert (Yvonne) Shaw of Overbrook, Jonathan (Tanya) Shaw of Lawrence and James Shaw of Silver Lake; brothers, William T. Shaw of Topeka and Charles Shaw of Emporia and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel in Topeka; the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
