Robert "Rob" Crane, 36, of Topeka, passed away, July 16, 2006 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center.
He was born May 28, 1970 in San Jose, California the son of Bill and Peggy Crane.
Rob married Stacey Pierson February 15, 1992. He is survived by his wife, a son, Jarrett Thomas and a daughter, Jaelyn Rylie, all of the home. Other survivors include his parents Bill Crane and his wife Linda and Peggy Whiteman and her husband Gary, his sister Candi Crane, three nephews and an aunt Mindy Glaspell all of CA.; his father and mother in law Greg and Dee Pierson, Tecumseh, a brother in law and his wife Aaron and Heather Pierson, Topeka.
Rob worked at AMR for eight years as a paramedic, EMT, and training instructor-a job he was devoted to and loved. Previously he had worked at Meier's Ready Mix and Laidlaw Transportation both in Topeka.
Rob was cremated. Private inurnment will be at a later date. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2006. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Crane Children's Educational Fund, c/o Educational Credit Union, 2808 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66614.
