Robert Eugene Brady, 79, of Osage City passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022, at home in Osage City, KS with family by his side. He was born May 7, 1942, in Emporia, KS to W. Ben and Rosy E. Brady. Robert graduated from Hartford High School in 1960 where he participated in football. Robert married Sharron M. Winchell of Waverly, KS on April 24, 1971.
Robert worked as a heavy equipment operator (finish blade) and was a member of Union Local 101 working mostly in the Kansas City area. He retired after approximately 40 years of service. He was actively involved in the First Christian Church of Osage City and Town and Country Church of Christ of Ottawa. Robert had many interests including working on cars, tinkering in his shop, attending auctions, bird watching, gardening, fishing, spending time with his dogs, and traveling.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sharron. Survivors include his children, David Brady (Pamela) of Topeka, Paul Brady (Ashley) of Osage City, Sarah Martinez (Joseph) of Osage City; four grandchildren, Julie Brady, Makayla Lord, Dylan Brady, Ethan Brady; his sister Ellen Hamman of Wichita, KS; his brother W. Ben Brady, Jr. of Topeka, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
