Robert Allen Blick

Robert Allen "Bob" Blick, 56, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Bob was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on June 19, 1956, the son of Maurus and Diedre Flynn Blick. He graduated from Hutchinson High School.
Bob was married to Rebecca (Mock) Blick on August 9, 1980. They divorced in 2011.

Bob worked as a restaurant manager for many years and for the State of Kansas at Topeka State Hospital and Kansas Neurological Institute. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, travel, reading, and spending time with his family. He was also actively involved in service as a board member of Topeka Independent Living Resource Center.

Bob is survived by his daughter Lindsay Blick Hamm (Jason) of Lawrence, son, Andrew Blick of Topeka, and grandson, Finnley Hamm. Other survivors include: father, Maurus Blick; three brothers; Maurus Blick (Brenda Dageford) and Daniel Blick of Topeka, William Blick of Hutchinson; sister, Lanaea Heine (Rodney) of Clinton; six nieces and nephews, and four great-nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Diedre Blick and neice, Kahlyn Heine.

Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
